An important note: If you reset the Toniebox 1 to factory settings, all of the Wi-Fi connections you have saved and all content you have downloaded will be erased!
If you have already tried a soft restart and are still running into problems with your Toniebox 1, resetting to factory settings can help. Here's how to do it:
- Place the Toniebox 1 on the charging station while connected to the power supply and turn them both upside down together so the ears are pointing downwards.
- Pinch both ears simultaneously for about 10 seconds until you hear an audio signal and the Toniebox 1 shuts down. The Toniebox 1 is now in factory default condition.
- If you would now like to re-setup the Toniebox 1, remove it from the charging station for a moment and place it back on. It will greet you with "Hello, don’t be scared..."
- You can then follow through the setup process using the tonies app or my.tonies.com/setup.
