Every Tonie works with every Toniebox, regardless of generation. That means you can have a US Toniebox and play EU Tonies, and vice versa.
The same goes for using a Toniebox in another country: any version of the Toniebox will play in any country.
All you need is Wi-Fi to connect.

The North American version of the Toniebox 1 charging station is only compatible with 120V outlets, while the EU version is compatible with 120-240V outlets.
If you'd like to use the US charging station in a region that uses 220-240V outlets, you'll need a converter.
This changes the voltage and also allows the plug to fit the outlet. The US charging station will work normally as long as you use a voltage converter to bring the voltage down to 120V.
Toniebox 2 and Toniebox Lite both use USB-C charging, but what is included with your purchase differs.
