Think of a factory reset as your Toniebox Lite “fresh start button.” It wipes everything clean and takes your Toniebox Lite back to the way it was on day one. Because it’s such a big step, a factory reset should only be used as a last resort, after you’ve tried all other troubleshooting tips.
When to use a factory reset:
- Something went wrong during the initial setup and your Toniebox Lite isn’t responding as expected.
- You’d like to return your Toniebox Lite and remove it from your tonies® account.
To Factory Reset your Toniebox Lite, follow these steps:
- Turn on your Toniebox Lite and wait until the light ring turns green.
- Make sure the Toniebox Lite is not plugged in.
- Turn the Toniebox Lite upside down and press and hold both ears for 5 seconds until you hear a sound signal.
- Turn it back over – the light ring will glow white.
- Press and hold the small ear. The Toniebox Lite will begin the factory reset and guide you through the process.
- Wait until the Toniebox Lite confirms that the reset is complete.
- Your Toniebox Lite is now reset and ready for a brand-new start.
For in app guidance to factory reset:
- Open the tonies® app and log in to your account.
- Go to “Mine” and select your Toniebox Lite.
- Tap “Settings” (top right corner).
- Scroll to the bottom and select “Factory reset instructions.
