Why is tonies® conducting this recall?

The recall is being initiated due to risk of magnet ingestion. tonies® has received one report of the magnet detaching from a tonies® Block. No injuries have been reported. When two or more high-powered magnets are swallowed, either intentionally by younger children or accidentally by older children, the ingested magnets can attract to each other, or to another metal object, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting and/or blockage of the intestines, infection, blood poisoning and death.

How is tonies® conducting this recall?

We have stopped sale of the affected products. We request all tonies^® Blocks owners click here to generate a free return label and send their Blocks back to tonies^® immediately. After receiving your Blocks, we will issue a refund to your initial form of payment. We will also send a $14.99, plus free shipping, us.tonies.com coupon code.

How do I participate in the recall?

No, we are asking all customers to stop using the product immediately and participate in the recall by returning the Blocks to us. It is illegal to sell a recalled product. The Blocks will no longer work when placed on the Toniebox.

Are any other Tonies or Tonieboxes impacted?

No, this recall only impacts tonies^® Blocks. No Tonie figurines or Tonieboxes are impacted.
