Just like Toniebox 2, we’ve designed Toniebox Lite in a way that allows us to roll out feature updates as soon as they’re ready, and any changes you make in the app will sync automatically with your Toniebox Lite as soon as it's connected to Wi-Fi.
What about firmware updates? Here’s how it works:
- Turn on your Toniebox Lite and make sure it’s connected to the internet. Do not place a Tonie or Tonieplay game on top.
- Auto-download begins: The Toniebox Lite will automatically download and install any available updates.
- Allow the Toniebox Lite to turn off automatically. This confirms the update and confirms the process is complete.
- When you next turn it on, you're ready to go with the latest firmware and improvements.
Important to know:
If you place a Tonie on the Toniebox Lite during this process, the update will be skipped or interrupted so the story or game can play right away. The update will then install automatically later, once playback has finished and the Toniebox is in idle mode.
