Oops! When you put a Creative Tonie on the Toniebox, the Toniebox says that the Tonie is locked?
In this case, you need to check the following three things:
Does the Creative Tonie come from another household?
If you have received a gift or borrowed a Creative Tonie that already has content, the owner must also unlock the Tonie for use with ‘foreign’ Tonieboxes. It's very simple – go to https://my.tonies.com 😉
When the owner logs in to their tonies® account and selects the corresponding Tonie, they will see a grey ‘Advanced settings’ strip at the bottom of the page. By clicking on it, they must select ‘Listen only in this household – OFF’ so that the Tonie can be used with other Tonieboxes.
Can your Toniebox read Creative Tonies from other households?
You can control this setting via your mytonies account. To do this, go to the household settings in the ‘Households’ tab. Choose your household and click on ‘Household preferences’. The ‘Listen to other Creative Tonies’ button should appear in green so that Tonies from other households can also be played on your Toniebox.
Are you receiving this message using a Creative Tonie from your own household?
If so, check https://my.tonies.com to see if your Toniebox is currently visible in the ‘Tonieboxes’ tab. If not, click on "Add a Toniebox", enter your Toniebox identifier (Toniebox-ID) in the corresponding field, and then click on "Add now".
Next, the Toniebox must be synchronised with mytonies:
Switch on the Toniebox and remove the Tonie, if there is one sitting on it
Place the Toniebox within range of a Wi-Fi network with which it can connect
Hold down one ear of the Toniebox for about three seconds until you hear a beep. Synchronisation will then start, indicated by the blue LED
When the LED turns green again, the new settings have been applied
Now place the Creative Tonie on the Toniebox again – the audio adventure should now begin!
