How do I manage content on my Sleepy Friends Night Light?

Note: If you add your own custom content to the Night Light Tonie, the pre-loaded content will not be accessible unless your own custom content is removed. The Night Light is unable to store both pre-loaded content and custom content at the same time. Not to worry, even if you add custom content, it is simple to get the pre-loaded content back. For steps walking through that process, please see our section below titled 'How to get the pre-loaded content back onto the Night Light'. 

 

1. Open the tonies app and tap the icon in the bottom right hand corner titled 'Collection'.
   
   
     
2. Tap on the 'Creative Tonies' header. 
   
   
     
3. Tap on the Sleepy Friends Night Light Tonie. 
   
   
     
4. By default, the Night Light Tonie comes pre-loaded with content, and there will be no content displayed within the tracklist. If you would prefer to add your own content instead of the pre-loaded content, you can choose if you want to record new content by tapping the microphone button or upload already saved content by tapping the tonie/arrow icon. 
   
   
     
5. If you choose to record new content directly, tapping the microphone button will bring up the recording page. To begin recording, tap the red circle.
   
   
     
6. Once you are finished recording, tap the red stop button at the bottom of the screen.
   
   
     
7. Once the recording is stopped, you will have a chance to listen to the recording, delete and record again, or save and assign. If you would like to add the recording to the Night Light, tap 'Save and assign'.
   
   
     
8. The new recording will upload for a few seconds. Once this process is complete, tap 'Done' in the upper right-hand side of the screen.
   
   
     
9. Once the new content is uploaded to the Night Light, you will just need to sync the Toniebox 1 in order to download the new content. To do this, simply turn on the Toniebox 1 and pinch one of the Tonieboxes ears for about three seconds until you hear a sound. The LED will begin flashing blue while your Toniebox 1 updates with the new content. You can then place the Night Light onto the Toniebox 1 when the light turns solid green. The new content will then be played and downloaded simultaneously.

3. Tap on the Sleepy Friends Night Light Tonie. 
   
   
     
4. If you currently have custom content on the Night Light Tonie, tap the 'Edit' button on the right-hand side of the screen. This will allow you to edit the tracks that are currently on the Night Light.
   
   
     
5. To change the order of a track, press and hold on the three lines next to the name of the track you would like to change the order of. Keep holding and move up or down to change the order of the track. As you move up or down, you will see the order changing. Once you have the track in the correct order, stop holding and the track will now be shown in the new order.
   
   
     
6. To delete a track, tap on the circle next to the name of the track(s) you wish to delete.
   
   
     
7. Once you have selected the track(s) you wish to delete, tap 'Delete content' on the bottom of the screen.
   
   
     
8. A confirmation screen will appear to confirm the deletion of the selected track(s) from the Night Light. To confirm the deletion, tap 'Delete'.
   
   
     
9. Once you are finished making changes, tap the red 'Done' button on the top-right side of the screen.
   
   
     
10. Now you will just need to sync the Toniebox 1 in order to make sure that the Toniebox 1 receives the news that changes have been made. To do this, simply turn on the Toniebox 1 and pinch one of the Tonieboxes ears for about three seconds until you hear a sound. The LED will begin flashing blue while your Toniebox 1 updates with the changes. You can then place the Night Light onto the Toniebox 1 when the light turns solid green. The new changes should then be reflected properly and you will no longer hear any tracks that have been deleted.

2. Tap on the 'Creative Tonies' header. 
   
   
     
3. Tap on the Sleepy Friends Night Light Tonie. 
   
   
     
4. If you currently have custom content on the Night Light, in order to get the pre-loaded content back, all of the custom content needs to be deleted. To do this, tap the 'Edit' button on the right-hand side of the screen. This will allow you to delete all of the custom content tracks and get the pre-loaded content back. 
   
   
     
5. To delete all of the custom content tracks in order to get the pre-loaded content back, tap on each of the circles next to the name of each of the track(s). 
   
   
     
6. Once you have selected all of the tracks, tap 'Delete content' on the bottom of the screen.
   
   
     
7. A confirmation screen will appear to confirm the deletion of all the tracks from the Night Light. To confirm the deletion, tap 'Delete'.
   
   
     
8. Now that the tracklist is blank, tap the red 'Done' button on the top-right side of the screen.
   
   
   
     
9. Now that the Night Light tracklist is empty, this means that the pre-loaded content is loaded on the Night Light.
   
   Note: You will not see the individual pre-loaded content tracks listed here. 
   
   
     
10. Once all of the custom content has been deleted from the Night Light, you will just need to sync the Toniebox 1 in order for the pre-loaded content to begin playing. To do this, simply turn on the Toniebox 1 and pinch one of the Tonieboxes ears for about three seconds until you hear a sound. The LED will begin flashing blue while your Toniebox 1 updates with the pre-loaded content. You can then place the Night Light onto the Toniebox 1 when the light turns solid green. The pre-loaded content will then be played and downloaded simultaneously.
