On older versions of Android, Wi-Fi settings are linked to location permissions.
If you are asked to give tonies® permission to determine your location when setting up the Toniebox 2, you can adjust this as follows:
- Open the settings on your device.
- Scroll down a little and tap on “Location.”
- Then tap on “Location permissions” / “App permissions” (there are slight differences between different versions).
- You can select the tonies® app and set when it can access your location data. The ideal settings are “Allow access only while using the app” or “Always allow.”
Don't worry, we don't need to know where you are. Unfortunately, the “Wi-Fi” and “Location permissions” cannot be separated in older Android versions due to system limitations.
