Ah, it's the ant. That means that although your Toniebox is connected to the Wi-Fi through the router, it cannot access the Internet from there.
Please check first of all that your Toniebox is close enough to the router and the connection is stable enough. Presumably the ant trail began with one of the following situations:
- You have tried to start up your Toniebox and perform the initial installation process.
- You wanted to connect your already installed Toniebox to another Wi-Fi network.
- Your Toniebox tried to connect to a Wi-Fi network because
You can find the right solution for your situation here
- If the code word ‘ant’ was heard during the installation process, we should give your Toniebox a fresh start and reset it to the factory settings. Here’s how:
- Restart your router by unplugging it from the power supply, waiting 10 to 15 seconds and then plugging it back in again. Waiting is important to ensure that every part of the router is briefly without electricity and you can perform a clean restart. When restarted, the router cleans up its interim storage and deletes unnecessary connection data. This clears a path, so to speak, for the Toniebox.
- Log in to my.tonies.com with your login details and check whether your Toniebox is already displayed in the navigation point ‘Tonieboxes’. If necessary, remove it from your household.
- Place the Toniebox on the charging station connected to the power supply and turn them both upside down together so the ears are pointing downwards.
- Hold down both ears simultaneously for around 10 seconds until you hear an audio signal and the Toniebox turns off.
The Toniebox is now back in factory default condition. Please go through the entire installation process again at my.tonies.com/setup.

- You have already installed your Toniebox and wanted to connect it to another Wi-Fi network when you heard the code word ‘Ant’
or - Your Toniebox tried to connect to Wi-Fi when you
- put on a new Tonie or Creative-Tonie
- squeezed one of its ears for three second
In both instances, restarting the Toniebox and/or your router may help. Here’s how:

Now try to reconnect to the Wi-Fi again or put on a Tonie. If you still hear the ‘ant’ code word, please get in touch with our support, stating your Toniebox ID and the Wi-Fi router model.
