If you would like to turn off the Wi-Fi function on your Toniebox, if, for example, you are boarding a flight, you can activate offline mode. It's easy to do:
- Turn on your Toniebox and make sure that there are no Tonies or Creative-Tonies on it.
- Hold down both ears simultaneously until you hear an audio signal. It lasts around 5 seconds.
- If you have heard the audio signal and the Toniebox starts up, let go of both ears first.
- Now hold down one of the ears. After around 3 seconds, the blue flashing light on the LED switches to a white light and you will hear the following voice message:
Ending offline mode is even easier:
- Turn on your Toniebox and make sure that there are no Tonies or Creative-Tonies on it.
- Hold down both ears simultaneously until the LED switches from a white to a green light and you hear the following voice message:
If offline mode is active, the Toniebox does not look for known networks to connect to them and can only play Tonies or Creative-Tonies which have already been downloaded in full onto the Toniebox’s internal storage.
It is not possible to activate new Tonies or download new content for a Creative-Tonie. The Toniebox also cannot be synchronised with the Toniecloud, e.g. to configure the maximum volume or the motion sensor.
Please note: When offline mode is activated, we can only provide limited support where necessary, as no log files are transmitted to the Toniecloud.
If you have further queries or there are problems with offline mode, the best thing to do is consult our support, stating your Toniebox ID.
