Ah, it's the ant. Code word: Ant means that although your Toniebox is connected to Wi-Fi through the router, it cannot access the Internet. Before we begin, make sure that your Toniebox is close enough to the router and the connection is stable.
Most likely, the ant appeared during one of the following situations:
- If you heard the code word 'Ant' during the initial setup process, you can reset your Toniebox to factory settings. Here's how:
- Restart your router by unplugging it from the power supply, waiting 10 to 15 seconds, and then plugging it back in. Waiting is important to ensure a clean restart. When restarted, the router cleans up its interim storage and deletes unnecessary connection data. This clears a path, so to speak, for the Toniebox.
- Log in to my.tonies.com or the mytonies app and check whether your Toniebox is already displayed in the 'Tonieboxes' section. If it is, remove it from your household.
- Place the Toniebox on the charging station while connected to the power supply and turn them both upside down together so the ears are pointing down.
- Pinch both ears simultaneously for about 10 seconds until you hear an audio signal and the Toniebox turns off.
The Toniebox is now back in factory default condition and ready to be setup again. To set up, go to my.tonies.com/setup or use the mytonies app.

- If you heard the code word 'Ant' when you either:
- Tried to connect your Toniebox to a different Wi-Fi network or
- Put on a new Tonie or
- Squeezed one of the Tonieboxes ears for three seconds
Then restarting the Toniebox and/or your router may help. Here's how:
-

Now try to reconnect to the Wi-Fi again or put a Tonie on the Toniebox. If you still hear the 'Ant' code word, send us a message including your Toniebox ID and the Wi-Fi router model if possible.
