Imagine this: it’s Christmas Day, your little listener is unwrapping their Toniebox with THE biggest smile, but it’s not ready to use right away… uh oh! Sounds like a nightmare, right?

Follow these easy steps to set up the Toniebox:

1. Download the mytonies app and login or create your free account.
2. Tap the "Mine" tab on the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap the red plus sign behind "Toniebox" to add the Toniebox and start the setup process.
4. Make sure you have access to a 2.4GHz WiFi connection (a common WiFi connection in most homes) your Toniebox and the Toniebox charging station.
5. Enter your Toniebox ID. This is the 8 digit ID that can be found on the bottom of your Toniebox.
6. Place the Toniebox on the charging station to turn it on, then pinch both ears for about 5 seconds until you hear an audio chime and the LED flashes blue. 
7. Now your Toniebox will connect to your smartphone. You will see a different message depending on whether you are using an iPhone or Android.
8. Continue to wait while your Toniebox continues through the connection process. This may take a minute or two. Once your Toniebox has finished connecting and downloading, you will hear a welcome message and see ‘Congratulations, you are a Tonie hero!’ on your screen. The Toniebox LED should also now be solid green.
9. Now your Toniebox is all set up and ready for Tonies! Pop a Tonie on the Toniebox, bag and all, and it will begin downloading its content and the LED will begin blinking blue.
10. Once the Tonie is finished downloading, the LED will change to solid green and an audio chime will play. Now that Tonie can play even without a WiFi connection.

And now let’s get the Tonie ready to play:

• You can sync new Tonies to your Toniebox while they’re still in their packaging.
• Simply pop the Tonie on top of the Toniebox, still in it’s bag, and wait 10 seconds.
• Once the LED light turns green and you hear an audio chime play, you’re ready to go!
• Now that Tonie can play on this Toniebox, even without a WiFi connection.
